Description

A shiny Christmas Pudding Sixpence to accompany our lovely wooden Pudding Stirring spoons.

This small additional option makes a beautiful complete gift set for Christmas.

Traditionally, a sixpence coin is added to the pudding mix on Stir-Up Sunday. This is the last Sunday before advent begins. Each member of the family gets together in the kitchen and gives the mix a stir. The person who finds the sixpence in their slice of Christmas pudding on Christmas day is then  said to be blessed with luck and good fortune for the following year! You can find out more about Stir up Sunday, sixpences and all things Christmas puddings here!

Isn’t this a wonderful tradition to have with your family each year to kick off the start of your festive  season?!

Our Christmas Pudding Sixpence comes presented in a small jute drawstring pouch. This is perfect for storing the sixpence in through the rest of the year.
