It’s been a little while, but I’m back with some peg doll creations in time for Christmas!
It’s been a funny old year with ill health having a huge impact on my creativity, but the consensus is that it’s time to dust off the pyrography tools and coloured pencils and indulge in a little creative therapy. And what better timing than the impending festive season?!
Gently easing myself back into peg doll creations, I’ve started with a few peg doll spoon toppers. They were really popular last year, so I’ve given them a seasonal twist for 2016. Introducing the cutest Robin Redbreasts and juiciest Christmas Puds:
Isn’t this little Robin pretty sweet?! He’s got little rosy cheeks, and is quite happy to shake his little tail feathers when he comes bob-bob-bobbing along. Perfect for bird lovers or top chefs alike!
I love a good Christmas pudding, with its’ plump juicy fruit cheekily steeped in liqueur and a dollop of brandy sauce. Yum. Naughty but very nice. I’m a massive mince pie addict too, especially the flaky pastry varieties! What’s your “can’t-do-without” choice of Christmas baked goods? If you’re a star baker or a patron of puddings, this could be the gift for you.
The spoons are for decorative use only – after all, they are too pretty to be used!
